These are the terms for buying a website from Rebuilt in 48. They're written to be read.
Previews are free, carry no obligation, and remain our property until you purchase. Previews are built from publicly available information about your business and may contain placeholder text or images we'll replace with yours during the paid build.
The 48 hours begin when (a) payment has cleared and (b) you've sent any content you want used and approved the preview copy. If the site is not live on your domain within 48 hours of both conditions being met, we refund $300 of your fee automatically. Delays caused by your domain registrar, DNS propagation, or content you haven't sent are excluded, but we'll tell you about them the moment we see them.
On full payment you own the website, its content, and its source code. Your domain remains in your name. Fonts, stock images, and third-party services keep their own licenses. We may show your finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Before we've started the paid build: full refund, no questions. After launch: the $300 promise above, plus we'll make it right — two included rounds of edits exist for exactly this reason. Because the work is delivered, there are no refunds after launch beyond the 48-hour promise.
Optional. Includes hosting, security updates, uptime monitoring, monthly backups, and small edits (text, images, hours, prices) up to about 30 minutes per month. Billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time; it stops at the end of the paid month and your first-year hosting continues regardless.
We build carefully, but we aren't liable for lost business, lost profits, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us.
